About This Website

This website was created by the first SMF 400 Capstone course cohort in 2017. It was a passion project by these graduating students to create a place for current and future students to access information about the SMF program. It was the hope of the 2017 graduating cohort that future students and those considering joining the SMF department would benefit from the information contained here – from SMF students for SMF students.

The 2020 graduating cohort chose to continue the work started by their peers three years ago by reviving this website, adding their own voices and experiences to the project.  What you see here is the collaborative effort of two generations of SMF students.  This website was a labour of love for both cohorts – we hope it communicates our respect and appreciation for this amazing program and all that it has brought to our lives.
