The Sexuality, Marriage, and Family Studies Research Symposium is an annual conference hosted by the SMF department. This one-day conference highlights research on sexualities, relationships, and families, with particular emphasis on featuring graduate and undergraduate student research. This day provides a wonderful opportunity for students to participate in an academic conference locally (at an affordable student rate).

This event is usually held at St. Jerome’s University of Waterloo, with lunch provided. The SMF Symposium is the best opportunity to meet new people in your field and make deeper connections with students, faculty, alumni and professionals. Hope to see your face there soon!
